Hi Spidey,

Have you tried language centres such as Cambridge English For Life? They have classes for pre-schoolers to attend, the kids will improve in terms of language usage, understanding and of course on the speech portion.

The teaching method is different from a normal school/kindergarten. Interactive based to let the children pick up the language through phonics or other activities. It's all fun and educational. Smile

So Good luck~

*Hey, i'm not very sure what's the minimum age that you can enrol ur kids though*

gneleey, appreciate for the input. There is a branch in top of HCBC BBK, is that the one you referring?

Btw, do they accept kids 2.6 years of age?

hmm....i got a cousin...creative... but blur..quite engrossed with the thing he does...

dont think i have any info. but there is sumthin known as slight/mini autism(not saying ur kid has) which is not in anyway like OKU.. but its like House in the tv series?? or albert einstein... he has it too...in which they have very good concentration.
autism doesnt mean OKU..... it has many levels and types. some are gifted, some are not. very hard to detect, unless child psychologist or specialist.

or in a lighter note.. maybe he likes to be called something elseBig Grin Tongue just saying...maybe u can try giving him a nick name which he likes and can respond to.

Spidey, just got the info, the youngest they take is 3-yr-olds. Maybe you can give it a shot with ur boy, if they get strict with the 3 or 2.6 thing, then go another centre then. Smile My suggestion is to Kemuning or Bdr Puteri, coz I heard the Klang branches is ruled by the same owner Tongue

RE: pre kindergarten or music class
I let my kid watch Lil Einstein, and various other show played on Disney playhouse. My daughter now switch between Nik Jr and playhouse. I get her to play keyboard and dance along with her. Sing songs with our own lyrics (to encourage her creativity). Praise when she does things creatively, she plays blocks, make up her own games, etc etc.... Creativity needs encouragements, especially from parents. Maybe your kid is just shy, maybe your kid just needs more encourages. Smile Don't know about the details, however every kids are different lor.... My elder is creative but very slow with studies, can't force her to be 100% perfect lor... Haha, as long as she is healthy and good attitude what can we as parents ask for more? Sometimes we live in such stressful, heavy competitive environment. Have we forgot what kids enjoy and want the most? I reckon give them their basic needs, talent or not can't be force into. That's just me though...
