Parent-child rapport
For parents,

Are you a good listener? Do you listen to your children when they come back from school and eagerly telling you the happenings in school? or you just shrug it off? Many parents are guilty of not spending much time with their children. They come back from work tired and when their children try to have conversation with them, they push them away and say, "I'm tired, tell me tomorrow". When parents do that, children tend to go astray and spend more time with their friends. As parents, spending time with children is important and take an interest in whatever your children are doing.

I'm open minded but not so open that my brains fall out.

Wait a minute, you are asking Asian to spend time with their kids? Is that possible?

I think the grandparents in Msia spend more time with grandkids than the parents themselves. Or even with maids. Sad

I know I grow up with my maids, parents are way too busy with work and charities. Still ah, my mother hardly miss cooking food for us.
