"The car features a more extreme V-nose solution than on last year's car, with highly-crafted sidepods and the shark fin engine cover that has appeared on rival competitors' machinery.

The car also features an intricate front-wing design and has been fully developed around the double-diffuser concept that had to be incorporated onto the RB5 mid-season last year."

It's been widely reported that USF1 eam has asked the FIA for permission to miss the first four races of the season, and only ready to start at the beginning of the European season.

“We’re working with the FIA to clarify how many races we can miss,” he added. “In an ideal world, we can miss the first four races and show up in Barcelona [9 May].”

USF1 was caught out by the late resolution of the row between the teams and the FIA last summer. It delayed its plans by several months plus more problems with it's sponsors including YouTube. Meanwhile Stefan GP, who brought Toyota's facility and it's 2010 car design, are waiting in the wings to take USF1’s place.
