RE: speech & language pathologist
yukomy, I have checked FunGate & You n Me and they sound promising.
The others I not able to google i.e. tweek and wink.

FunGate only have in one location some more in KL so not a good choice in term of location.

Can consider You n Me as they have several franchise and the nearest to Klang is Shah Alam. They also provide 1 week free trial.

So I have few options now:
1. Keep looking to find something in Klang
2. Check out You n Me and check if there is any transportation can be arranged to Klang or maybe seek if there is parent from Klang where can car pool.

/Spidey.

RE: speech & language pathologist
I been to Fig Tree today to check out the place. The facilities and arrangement are quite nice. The principle are also friendly.

I would recommend to check out this place yourself before deciding.
The only reason if I refuse to enroll my son here is because of distant from my house other then this i am more than happy.

Still looking for similar center around Jalan Meru, Aman Perdana and Setia Alam and if you have any recommendation, please share the information.

RE: speech & language pathologist
yukomy, please feedback about YouNMe after the 1 week trial.
I went to Smart Reader in Aman Perdana last Saturday and we prefer sending our Son to Fig Tree (FunGates programs).

The SmartReaders are more cater for children 4-6 as i found it is more to kindergarten flavor.

I prefer for my 3 years old to have more play and at the same time learning which i find Fig Tree is offering. So most properly we are sending him there.
Fig Tree also provide daycare in case you unable to pick up your kid after class until 18:00 with additional fee.

The idle teacher to student class ratio for 3 years old is 1:10 which Fig Tree is practicing. If there are more than 10 student in the class especially for 3 years old then the concentration level for teacher will not be good to work with all these kids. FigTree also having an assistant in this class of 10.

Since you only enrolled your kid for 1 week period, why not visit FigTree and find out yourself.

As for Gymboree, do they have branch in Klang? I google and only find the one in bangsar.

RE: speech & language pathologist
hi spider,

Today i had enrolled my kid at the You N Me, first day for him, i think quite ok...as currently they have only 5 students...with 1 teacher, the environment is very quiet with the music on the background, what they use is inner talk, good for them.... they use in the class as well like shichida method. I think most possiblity i will put my kid there. Beside there, i had go to Cambridge Children House to have a look which nearby the You N Me Education Center, quite nice environment with english medium, they use phonics in the classroom, they had day-care also. Price also reasonable .. . For the three years old kid, the timetable are story telling, drama & speech, & they didn't use a text book in school for 3 years old kid. I may try to enrol my kid over there on the next year or the next next year.
And i will go to fig tree to have a look, i had call them already . . .. Had u check with MBA in bandar botanic, since it was a quite nice school also..

As for the Tweedle Wink, it will have a new branch in Ambang Botanic, i think it was very good for us bcz nearby, it was an enrichment programme from US which the class is 1 week for one hour. Their open house is on 23/1/09 & 24/1/09 , u may go have a look....i think is 10am to 3pm...They say just behind the Cavenci. If you interested can try to contact Mr. Lau 0123181151... If you like to go to have a look, let us go together...so can meet ..haha...

Where you sending your kid go for the music class? R u do a research on music classes which nearby our area like bandar botanic, bukit tinggi??

See you.

RE: speech & language pathologist
yukomy, I am living in Taman Berkeley and most of the good preschool are located in Bukit Tinggi & Botanic. Of course it will be great if similar school available at our side. YouNMe should be OK so far I checked but the location is the problem for us. Lucky your working and living area are strategic enough.

The Music class that I send my son once a week are in Mutiara Damasara. It callled Musikhaus. Please visit their website for more info: http://www.musikhaus.com.my/. His last class was last Saturday and after this I am sending him to preschool. I rather get him to take one at a time.

Of course I am not saying Fig Tree or YouNMe are the only good one, there are many out there.

Just need to select a good one for our children and at the same time it need to be convenient (location & timing) for us to send and pick up them after school as well adjust our working hours.

There is 2 more I need to check today:
1. Peak
2. Cahaya Gemilang

Which also Fun Gates franchise in Klang. Once I have more information, I will post here.
