RE: sound proofing for my car
hahaha....anti proton..woo....gud gud...go ahead n support the boring toyota and honda..i dont find anything bad about proton cars..i guess u had experience bad luck when u all bought ur proton..so judge urself before you write.....i bought the car because of the cheap price and use as a 2nd car...so wad? ..proton mah proton..it just a brand..the reason i bought dis car coz my wife need car..so the i gave her the audi for convienece.if toyota's logo replace by proton?..will u buy it?..i guess not coz of PROTON....(KURAUKING)...gud..support continental cars..not japan....TOYOTA? HONDA?....haiz.....pretty bored..toyota vios n honda city especially..BASIC LEVEL CARS but priced at 80k++..lol..even chevrolet sounds better...

Shy RE: sound proofing for my car
Well i do support local car, only for Perodua, cos i driving 1 rite now.G-love-01
I hate Proton becos they r not welling adapt the changes & stick to dumb plan to produce their own so called Campro engine not reliable.
Futhermore Proton is not cheap is u compare elsewhere like Thailand, jus becos is cheap in M'sia doesn't mean is gd rite.
So i will wait for new model fr Perodua to lauch their model this May,see whether the price is attractive or not.G-line-man-dance
Anyway gd luck with ur Persona.G-brush-teeth

RE: sound proofing for my car
wanna soundproof from the engine noise.. u need to take out the dashboard and insulate the firewall..alternatively, u can do it from the inside of the engine...
You can try dynamat for soundproofing.. DIY oso can.. just make sure u know how to put back the dashboard...
for best affect.. soundproof the doors.. roof.. boot.. and the floorboards.. will sure reduce the NVH alot..
I am driving Proton Saga LMST.. did soundproofing for the whole car by myself.. quite satisfied lar.. but dun go compare with those luxury cars like camry... as long as the outside noise dun disrupt my music.. enough lor... mai hiam beh pai.. G-one-teeth-missing

Taking photos, yes... Being taken, nooo :P
