P/s: just take a look of the tennis court & class block.ignore me! ahaha

1924 : Convent was formed in a shop house at Rembau Street, with students consisting of 19 boys and girls. The teachers then were Mother Superior Adele and 2 nuns - Sister Stephanie and Sister Mathew. The nuns realised the necessity to have a spacious building for the comfortable accommodation of the increasing number of students. Thus, the construction of the main building 'The Holy Infant Jesus' was started.
1928 : The official opening of the school by Sir William Peel on the 18th of January, 1928 was witnessed by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Alauddin Sulaiman Syah, the Raja Muda of Selangor, Souhart priests, Mother Tarciscious (Mother Provincial) and Mother Adele. Since 1930, the school has been confined to female students only. Sister Helen took over the post of principal from Mother Albert. Two candidates from the school entered the ‘JSenior Cambridge? examination for the first time. World War II : During the Japanese invasion, subjects like gardening, singing, drama and the Japanese language were taught. The number of students had increased to 300 and there were 9 teachers. 1945 : The house was turned into a hostel for the nuns and orphans from the Convent school in Ipoh. When the British took over, the English language was given emphasis.
After the war : The number of students increased further to 537, resulting in the construction of the Marion Wing. The school celebrated the Silver Jubilee Anniversary (Ulang Tahun Jubli Perak) and the Marion Wing was widened. St. Joseph’s Wing was built. Convent was then divided into primary and secondary sections in morning and afternoon sessions. A three-storey block was joined to the Marion Wing. The canteen block was built and the total number of students reached 931.
1973 : The starting of the science stream in the secondary school. Sister Florence became the new principal and the Parent-Teacher Association ( PTA ) was formed.
1976 : From this year onwards, the principals of the secondary school were no longer nuns. Puan Ng Thian Hoo replaced Sister Florence as principal.
Now: S.M.K Convent Klang change the name to S.M.Convent Klang & and my primary school, S.R.K Convent (2) Klang - S.K Convent (2) Klang. The different between my school era (1998-2002) & now is, there's a new class block. Our sekangkang kera softball field have to sacrifies to make sure that we have enough classroom for the student.

I went there for Geography Quiz Competition District Level during my Form 3.

Got 2nd place only. Sad

I find Convent school very suffocating because there's hardly any open space. But Convent girls, hahaha, that's another story. Big Grin
