RE: one malaysia F1 wor....
The Lotus F1 Team put out a press ad in the sports section of The Star yesterday listing various positions to be filled in the team. The list is quite extensive and all you have to do is email your CV and cover letter to 1MalaysiaHR@lotusf1team.com.

A quick glimpse at lotusf1team.com shows it doesn’t really have much content yet. The domain lists ex-Lotus employee and Litespeed co-founder Nino Singh Judge as the admin and technical contact.

You are joking right, a RM308 million anually for 225 vacancies? You call that produce jobs???????????

No I'm not. RM 308 mil is a whole budget - not just hiring people. I don't know exactly from that amount, maybe 30% from the accumulated to hire staffs.. everyone within the industry knows this.

And not just it gonna produce the job because of the establishment of the team (as you said 225 vacancies), it will create more job into the industry - ICT, exotic material manufacturing etc. Also local university could benefit from this too.

Finally, my opinion is not rubbish.. it's simply different than yours...

Now I'm surprised again that you failed to see this!

I m starting to lose count on the occasion, again, you are wrong.

http://www.khazanah.com.my/faq.htm

Who owns Khazanah Nasional?

Save and except for one (1) share owned by the Federal Land Commissioner, all of the equity of Khazanah Nasional is owned by MOF (Inc), which is in turn owned by the Ministry of Finance. In essence Khazanah is a wholly owned entity of the Malaysian Government.

Ok ok. Credit for you pushing very hard onto yourself to prove that KN is owned by Malaysian gov. but you cannot prove that their money had been used to fund the F1 team, don't you?

Because it isn't! Again, no money from gov. involved to initiate this project.

We can argue this forever, meanwhile the project already started and the car had been tested in windtunnel, it's matter of time for them to shakedown the car. And the team using gov.'s money to do this? lol!!

RE: one malaysia F1 wor....
What Rein said is true... it's really pointless to argue further and observe how they manage F1. And when the result are out, we will know whether this is genuine or not. And it won't be long for another election.
You too can make a choice whether to support the F1 team or not. To me... money can be better spent elsewhere than going to Sepang.

No thanks for the credit. I m not interested.

We all should be concerned that the correct information is given/posted here so that everyone knows whats happening there. We should be as accurate and if possible provide correct facts and figures and refrain from bulldozing some half-truth/misleading info/view onto others - when/where needs to.

and we just hate to see our money wasted to make a few big ambitious Datuks spending it without a second thought during this current global economic crisis, worst, they smoke screened their links of funding.

Like i mentioned, I will support if the private company use their own money. Not the money meant for the rakyat! When a govt is involved, its will involves govt's money. That's mine and yours!

Nothing is free.
