yes ah? which is the exit may i know? dekat mana? I hate going thru the terrible jam on Klg bridge to get to Bukit jelutong in the mornings!!! but which is nearer Kesas or NKVE from Klg???

I think NKVE is nearer to Bukit Jelutong.
Becos everyday i take NKVE travel to work lo.
Well the downsize u have fort out extra toll $$,but at least u can get rid all those jams ma.
Then today u better start to learn how to cook ok.

Klang Gets Third Bridge Over Klang River

KLANG, March 4 (Bernama) -- A third bridge is to be built over the Klang river here under a RM230-million project to be completed in 2-1/2 years.

Work on the project, which would form a part of the Klang Ring Road, is to begin in four months, said Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu after the launch of the project here by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo.

"The plans and designs for the project have been completed and the tender will be called soon," Samy Vellu told reporters.

The project involves the construction of a bridge of 0.5km and two kilometres of new road and upgrading of 1.3km of existing road, he said, adding that the new bridge would reduce traffic congestion on the Kota and Musaedin bridges.

Samy Vellu said his ministry had identified a link road in Klang cutting across Jalan Meru up to Jalan Sungai Udang, which would have four interchanges.

Earlier, in his speech at the launch, the minister said the 3.8km bridge project would stimulate growth of industrial sites and development in Klang and raise the socio-economic standard of the people.

He also said that the ministry was planning a fourth bridge to facilitate users of the West Coast Expressway heading into Klang and going from Klang to Banting.

Sigh, i think no choice la , still need to use the NKVE ! once past the crazy Klg jam at least i can speed up and drive like a demon lah!
Starting today , i try to fry eggs 1st ..... then later , make salad! Can ah????

the public transport in klang is very bad!
spclly the bus....
always very late...
then, they also should add more bus at the peak hour
but they didn't, causing the passenger in one bus over-crowded

You can get to B/Jelutong thru KESAS. a bit further lor.
FYI, KESAS can exit to NKVE via ELITE.

From Klang exit KESAS, go pass the Kemuning toll. u know the Petronas after the Shah Alam HICOM exit? The Proton Showroom is on the right.
After that is the exit to KLIa/Ipoh/JB, take that then you will enter ELITE highway. From there, u follow the signboard to Ipoh, then go straight lor. You'll find ur exit from there...coz it'll connect to NKVE later on.

Longer way... but if u really want to skip the jam, can consider this road.

Just to note, there is also jam on KESAS on mornings at Hicom intersection there lor. but it's slow moving rather than stuck wan lor.

either wake up early and leave before the jam or leave a little later to go to work, HICOM intersection, even with KESAS making the traffic diversion also not much effect, still jam all the ppl cut cue in and sometimes backlog until the toll. sigh...that's why sometimes die die also wake up at 6am to leave home latest 630am...i am heading down to kelana jaya btw.
