RE: MBO cinema in harbour place
well, my experience with MBO cinema was not that bad actually. just went to their new cinema at Desa Petaling...

the cinema hallway is superb. once you give the ticket stub to the staff, you will feel like you are in a 6-star hotel while walking to your cinema hall, truly impressive! the decoration, lightings, carpet are simply no match to TGV and GSC.

on top of that, the seats are leather seats! for once, i thought i was in a brand new AirAsia airbus jet. and if you think the leg space at TGV bukit tinggi is spacious, try MBO! can stretch the legs one...

but drawbacks, the cinema capacity is smaller, means smaller screen ...but that also means less interuptions from inconsiderate patrons.... but hey, i paid only RM5 for a movie! (i dont think GSC/TGV got RM5 tickets anymore kua...)

by the way, Harbour Place has said that the 11 MBO cinema halls there with 3D features will open in June 2010.

their decoration outside might be 6* but when i watch movie, i want big screen and comfort seat, i hope the mbo seat will not be like the kuching mbo seat; long leg room but the seat is leaning to the front and you will feel sliding off the seat everytime..........

ps...small screen sucks big time

Yes...there will be one 3D screen. So Klang folks don't have to go all the way to Sunway(currently nearest) to watch any 3D films... targeted to open mid of June.
