Erm, basically I think NUS is a university which is very hard to enter.
As I am concern, their requirements are very high.
But can try apply la, maybe got chance to enter.

I didn't read the latest post u have done, but in case I read your "long" story in the mid of this topic and few post of yours, you are quite determine in a while.

But something I want to correct here is, to be highly prospect, a certificate is non-deniable. I don't means those with Dr. PhD. Prof. are greats, they are indeed good at something, but not knowing the other knowledge.

You know nowadays "education" is VERY VERY important. Education is a level of widely acceptable reference throughout the world. And to be high ranking in Education, those certs are very important.

The world is changing always. eg: Today Malaysia might be very stable country, who knows tomorrow Malaysia might in war with Singapore because of the island case? haha

If once in war what can you bring with? Your only wealth is what in your brain, and what is written on the certs given by your uni. You need this to prove urself a certain level of capability of using your knowledge.

Crist, i disagree with you on the education thingy because i have no confidence with our education system. Nowadays, many ppl are opting to educate their children themself. Some believe the education system is created for ppl to become a working class. It's good to have a paper coz it's a stepping stone to whatever job interviews you go but what i am trying to say here is 'How much would you sacrifice to go and get the paper~?"

A simple question here, would you like to work for yr own company or work for other ppl company with the same pay(or a lil lesser for yr own company)~???......

hmm, surely if I were to start my own business career, I rather work for myself than working for others. But a lot of thing can't be done in that way isn't it? Starting own business required a very huge capital. Even a small business also have need an amount of capital. Moreover starting own business really having risk is knowledge is insustainable.

By the way, how you expect experimental work to start on your own pace? Perhaps still applicable for business to start your own, applicable science don't really allow you to start yourself unless you are very rich.

Alex, in business, cutting price is not a healthy move. Instead of under cutting price, you might want to opt for buy 1 free 2 technique or giving extra after sales service to yr customer, now that's healthy competition. The only person that will benefit from ppl who undercuts price is your supplier/manufacturer.........
