The University of York’s Social Policy and Social Work Department have been awarded 10 Commonwealth Scholarships by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission in the UK (CSCUK) for students who join either one of the following online courses at York:-

1. Masters in Public Policy and Management
2. Masters of Public Administration

The scholarship covers the full course fee. Students can apply online by following the link below:-

In addition to completing the application form, candidates are required to submit two references and write a 500 word personal statement summarising the following:-

1. How the scholarship will enable them to make a fuller contribution to development in Malaysia.
2. Any impact they hope to have on immediate colleagues and/or professional community.

The deadline for receipt of application is 31st August 2008. Both online courses will commence in April 2009.
