RE: Hi hi~ Erin here~
alexis>> lol i'm not worried about stalkers! so many ppl here and most of you met before... might as well stalk those you know mah! Big Grin

Zidano>> hi! hehe how should i put it... right, in Japanese terms - shoujo is a term descrining relationship between the straight couples : boy x girl.

In shounen-ai, it's boy x boy ... and yaoi is the extreme. shounen-ai is mild-mild love stories, but yaoi is *hem* hardcore. I'm not going to dwell into it because most guys are uncomfortable with it ^^;

but since we are on the topic, yuri is known for girl x girl.

Don't be surprised, yaoi and yuri fans are worldwide and there's a whole bunch already in M'sia.

hehe so let's not dwell into the old/ young issue because its as sensitive as the plump/slim issue Sad

Selyn>> wow a yaoi fan! that's so cool! how do you get your collections? well i normally get from IRC coz that's the best place to get anything. As a matter of fact I'm planning to start my own scanlation group. I have a Japanese translator (I myself can translate the chinese projects) and an editor. There is also a proofreader/ co-editor who wouldn't mind helping but may not be flexible in her availability.

So i'm really missing more proofreader, typesetters and QCs (Quality Cleaners). It's really difficult to get people coz photoshop knowledge is a preference. My editor suggests that we release 1 chapter first with the ad for recruitment and hope ppl will come to us. Will let you know when our 1st chapter is out Big Grin

Selyn, dun la say until i'm so innocent hehe
Aik, I won't run but I bite! XD

Seeking for scanlators, translators, proofreaders, typesetters and QCs for yaoi releases... if you don't like yaoi/ shounen-ai, then it's not your cup-of-tea.

i cant offer myself to help out coz my jap is also half pail.. mostly picked up from the past treasures... so, good luck! do enjoy urself here.... Smile

RE: Hi hi~ Erin here~
hehe thanks skyre (it's hard to pronounce it ^^Wink

We only need 1 more Japanese translator (since we already had one)... the rest of the vacancy mainly needs those who are experienced in Photoshop Wink

Anyway thanks again for the encouragement!!!

As long as I know that I am straight, dat's the most important thing lor...

Will try to work by the datelines... but seriously, if I am not able to cope, I would pull out.... Will need abit of guidance coz there is still many things to learn... if got mentor, it would be great....

I am taking this as a chance for me to brush up my skill in photoshopping...

RE: Hi hi~ Erin here~
lol that's good... i'm not that good with photoshop but my editor is. I will let her know about it soon. But i think as a starting, we will need to know whether you can navigate around photoshop... like playing around with the layers, the cloning technique etc.

I think it's important that I show you some examples... perhaps examples later coz all my stuffs at laptop and i won't be free these few days.
