RE: Dim sum in Klang?
Dear fellow bird, Crow,
![]() It is at the same row with OUB corner lot, Bank at Jalan Meru and Opposite NBC (Ng Bee Chai Developer) building. All so bad wan. So much activity in Klang Selatan ![]() We did not like the Thai Tong or Hai Thien Lo is because we saw that they just take it out of the freezer and jet blasted it on a steamer!!!! Sorry, we like to try to take traditional food served in a traditional way and wherever possible in the original receipe. Halal Dim Sum? Ha!Ha! What a joke! Halal Steam boat? Another joke. I like chinese food. Not Chinese styled-food. Yong Tau Hoo anyone? ![]() Secret Receipe's Tiramisu is NOT Tiramisu but "Tiratipu" !!!! ![]() Real Tiramisu is NOT Halal. Gawd!..do miss Foh San...............buthen..... ![]() Best Putu Piring in Klang is at Pekan Meru, the Pak Cik we meet weekly!! Nice guy. ![]() Cheers and Regards. RE: Dim sum in Klang?
Hi all Klang dim sum lovers,
After reading the dim sum thread, my hunger for dim sum getting worse. So this morning decided to go for dim sum in Pandanmaran, the "Choon May Dim Sum" as posted by KK in the Pandanmaran Pau thread. Well I followed the map provided, start from Bandar Botanic, so it was pretty straight forward rite. Following Persiaran Batu Nilam, passed through Giant Bukit Tinggi and later turn left into Jalan Batu Unjur. However, I turn into this new place with some shop lot just before the traffic light in Jln Batu Unjur to bypass the traffic light. But my wife suddenly spotted a dim sum shop and the name is Choon May..... ![]() Yeah as described by KK before the dim sum is here is nice and delicious. I like the "wu kok" very much. I will say better than those dim sum shops in Bukit Tinggi. For dim sum picture please refer to KK's thread http://www.myklang.com/forum/pandamaran-pau-t-539.html ![]() Here's the map to the new "Choon May". Confirm with the people there after having our dim sum that they have move to this place and the Pandanmaran place already close down. However I found the tua pau is not really that good. That's why I first doubt this is the original tua pau from Pandanmaran, although I have not try the one in their old shop before.... But that was just my opinion. Further more I also found the workers here are a bit slow, their work flow is not really smooth, maybe this is because they are still new in this place. Need to refine their flow to get dim sum as fast as possible to the costumer. This corner lot shop is also quite small, if too many costumers then may have to wait for table. Perhaps anyone can go there have a try and let me know what you think. Perhaps KK?? Thanks in advance. Perhaps the next Dim Sum gathering in this place?? Have a nice day.... Klang people
