Neway ur rite when u say its far...summore petrol price + toll, dun play play. But it will be ideal for those working in subang/pj area...summore 8:30pm after work, got time to eat & shop at summit. I myself work in KL Central, so 3K Sports Complex is on the way home. Any ladies? Self-defence nowdays is a must to learn. At 50bucks a month i think its pretty reasonable compared to all those celebrity gyms. Yoga is good, but what will Yoga do for you when someone assault u? Dont let ur shyness stop you from learning something useful that may save ur life one day Im planning to ask my lady colleagues oso. Everything starts with a first step. RE: Bujinkan Malaysia
Although no one is prolly bothered about this, here's my report on attending last nights intro to Bujinkan class for the benefit of you lurking forumers (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!).
Venue: 3k sport complex (Jln Kewajipan Subang) Time: 8.30pm Ok, this is the first time i've been to 3K sports complex. I must admit that it is a pretty well equipped facilty. Swimming pool is nice n big, rm3 per entry. They have a vry nice gym, and squash, badminton, etc courts. Food wise, they have an indoor cafe & also A&W restaurant. So last night I went there with 3 buddies to watch how ninjas trained. The instructor was James, very nice guy, very practical, and VERY FAST (but abit like pooh when it comes to swearing). There were about 10-15 ninja tho tai there, male & female oso. He invited us to join their class free for the night, so we obliged. Since we were new, James took us through the ropes on the essence of ninjitsu. While most martial arts use brute strength to subdue an opponent, ninjitsu's goal is to divert opponents attention and followed by strike (punch, joint lock, submission). Diversion can be in form of talking loudly, doing some funny pose, pleading for life, pinching, slapping, etc...anything to make the opponent feel in control. In one case i got pinched in the nipple (bugger my tears came out) and next thing i know i was on the floor with my arms locked. Most of what James taught was done in a practical, modern day street setting. Eg, like what to do if u are in car accident and road bully come up to you, or like in a mugging situation with multiple aggressors. Weapons training are also in the bujinkan syllabus, but we only saw a demo of it. All in all, you cant learn everything in one night, but i was pretty impressed. RM50 monthly fee includes 2 classes per week. He's got classes all over KL n PJ so a learner can choose to go any day, any center. Im 80% sure on joining, and will prolly choose to go for his Saturday class in Japan Club (near midvalley) cuz can shopping after that heehee ![]() Ok guys/gals, thats all for my report. Time to nurse my blue black nipple. BTW type "bujinkan" in youtube if you want to watch a typical class. Self-defence, rock climbing, cross-country, swimming, makan makan ... PM me if you're looking for an activity buddy! http://goodsh.blogspot.com/ |
