Bad Experience-TM Streamyx Combo

Dear All,

Just a short note to dear Klangites.

We are going thru a bad experience with the new TM Streamyx Combo Package. Today, we officially cancelled our Combo 5. after going thru 31 days of Hell!

Just want to know of anyone out there that have faced a similar situation just like we did. We were told that Klang would not be able to get Broadband speed exceeding 1 Mbps!!!! Is that true?

We are now back to 1 Mbps at the old RM88.00 per month but most of the time, we get only 510 kbps!!!

Complain the farkker TMNET,these few days i also facing slow down problem like u all.
Ask them for rebate

i also suffered from very slow connections these few days...don't know why.

i thought want to switch to the rm60 combo deal, can cut down a bit costs. but now, i don't know if i should do it or not.

combo is 384 kbps nia... not 1mb. thats y cheap..


1mb=1000kilobits to get actual speed divide by 8....around 125 is ur download speed in kilobytes.then they say ur line is rated to losses of 25% so in fact is 750kilobits then plus lind degradation...around 500 lo....

if your getting 512...you should complain to them...should be resolve pretty fast through their system...

anyhow tmnut is always bad wan la...the are the only one monopoly....saying got competitor..but they are all more expensive..and the backbone is still using telekom line

Anybody got experience with Jaring broadband ar? During PC Fair I saw the Jaring package, its cheaper. But don't know how good.

I am definitely staying away from Wireless Broadband in the mean time!

Don get wireless,becos is unstable.
Get a fix line 1st,until we have other alternative.
Tmnet so far is best so far,but the cons their line always slow down due to upgrade.

jaring package not bad la.... i do know that jaring has not much bottleneck...but dunno whether TM will sabo or not hahaha
