Hi everyone,

Today I just had a wonderful time experiencing the jam 3 times. Twice from South to North Klang, and the other one that cause me to be late 30 minutes for an appointment near the Klang kommuter station.

Is there any good alternatives? I live in Taman Gembira, off Persiaran Raja Muda Musa (Port Klang road), so from KL I can choose to take Kesas highway (though the exit near Bukit Tinggi is usually congested too). But if I absolutely have to cross the bridge, is there any alternative?

One of the ways is to take Connaught bridge, and I only know how to exit from Kampung Jawa, and then Taman Seri Andalas. Is there a nearer way to Port Klang from Connaught bridge? How about shortcut to Masjid India where I can avoid most of the traffic?
i think no hope lah... if jam, all the alternatives are jammed too....
there;s no running away from the jam.. .
kesas still works for me la...although the jam at the exit might just take a while, still better than passing through town
klang no hope already. especially south klang... sigh
nowadays i try to take kesas back to chiliung. i will make a U turn at teluk gong instead of q-ing up the banting exit. faster that way.

surprisingly the jusco road isnt that bad afterall
below are just suggestions.....drive at your own risks!!

red = congested area
green = alternative way

Hi hanxue,

Now you know why we, all those living in Klang Utara do not fancy going to Jusco Aeon at Bkt. Tinggi? It takes an hour to and an hour to go home everytime. We find it faster to go to Jusco at One Utama, PJ and the parking charge is only 1RM!!!!

Do you also realise that in the event of an emergency, there is NO hospital in Klang North but there are FOUR across Sg. Klang? So it looks like if any of my aged relatives decides to have a heart attack or a stroke, I would tell them not to have them now but in 2 years time when the Gormen (if) completes the fourth bridge!

Looks like we are seriously planning to move back to PJ ( We relocated to Klang six years ago) Why? Please go to my blogsite at http://donaldghtan.blogspot.com to see my ongoing tussle with Telekoms Malaysia in regards to my upgrade to their promotional package to 4Mbps.

They have the cheek to tell me that it may take TM another lifetime for Klang to have anything more that 2Mbps! It seemed that all existing copper cables cannot take the load for higher broadband especially the cables are always 'drowned' by rain water and one can see them at work pumping out from their manholes when there is a breakdown. When asked about when can fibreoptic cables be used to solve all these? Answer: Tak Tahu!!! No money TM?
You make RM Billions every year!

Serious.

I am still getting 98Kbps download speed for a 1Mbps package !!!!!!PTUI!!!!

Posting this from a friend's computer in PJ.

Cheers and regards

going to PJ will have better telekom service?

i stay in Klang Utara (eng ann area). i still go to Aeon bukit tinggi during weekend. staying in PJ ,for me, is still higher expense than staying in klang.... at least, i cannot have the same size of house currently i have in klang....
eemm?? klang town bridge?? there's too many cars in klang town- do u guys realise that klang is like kl nowadays?? if there's emergency i think the ambulances is a good choice!(i doubt) -hopeless!!!

im wondering wat are those newly elected MPs' going to do in klang for the klang people??

im staying in the north part of klang(i think) tmn klang utama, there no medical ctr nearby at all need to go thru klg town if there's emergency !!

maybe we can suggest at least 1 medical ctr nearby each district in klang!! eemm??
you could look at the map lor...bridges are limited...therefore there is little to no alternative roads .....and their plan is to have it complete in 3 years...but they never take into consideration that after 3 years ....their new bridge will not be able to sustain the increase of cars again......

how do you tell the govt to THINK AHEAD?

Thanks a lot for the replies, especially leekimchuan's map.

Seems like the jam from South Klang towards North Klang, near the "roundabout" at Chi Liung plaza / Jalan Kapar / Jalan Meru is not so bad. Probably most people are fed up and just take alternative roads? Tongue
