Are there any nice puttu mayam or puttu bambu in Klang ?
I used to eat lots back when I was in Kedah. But I haven't seen any yet in Klang .Well... so far I only know Bkt Tinggi, Klang area.. and the police station to pay summon.. but haven't been far into town yet.
There are quite a number of places that sell puttu mayam. But whether nice or not depends on the curry...so far I havent tasted any thats 'syok!' enuff to recommend.

Sorry gerop, dunno any good ones in klang. If anyone has any idea, do share. I love the coconut, the gula melaka but now the quality sold is just so bad.
puttu mayam is the one that looks like bee hoon . Puttu bambu is also made of rice flour, but it's sort of like a cup shape? filled with coconut and gula melaka .
i've nvr tried them with curry b4.
oh well... i think i'll go surf net for some pics instead ... if can't eat the real thing.. just see and drool also can la. hehehe
putu mayam is string hoppers -- eat with curry or kelapa+gula melaka
usually i get my putu mayam from Sentosa, if u buy in bulk i.e. min 20pcs,
there is this shop where they mass produce to supply to
all shops around Klang and Port Klang area.
When we have function in our house we order from them... but curry ~~> Sdn Bhd.
Gerop, u shud try puttumayam with curry ---
famous guy sellling in sentosa...came out in papers before....he is liike klang biggest putu mayam guy...

theres one in eng ann morning market.... normal white one...
i saw pandan flavoured puttu mayam b4... green puttu mayam!!! it used to sell in jalan kedah morning market..(at the end of jalan kedah, the thursday pasar malam site near klang parade). then they turn up at eng ann's morning few weeks ago....
my parents love it sooooo much that they are hunting for them everywhere...!!!
