Credit Card best service is not about which bank, it's about how much you have in yr account......Tongue
KK is rite...if u have enuf money in bank.they will offer u card Tongue
come to think of it, maybe i shud apply that CITIBANK fuel rebate card... -0.25% of my monthly fuel .. hmm or was it
-2.5%?
but u need to carry a balance over...so means u have to pay for the interest rate...it'll cancel out ur rebate...search the forum..it was discussed b4...
if u hv more than rm4k balance they give u 0.5% or 5%
if u hv less than rm4k they give u 0.25% or 2.5%
thats what was briefly explained to me by d salesguy when i pumped my car.
anyway i think its a con job
aircraft Wrote:well for those who cant have a credit card but want the credit facility go for maybanks debit visa...6 years..RM12.

peki, your radar off center already.

maybank debit visa <> credit card
it's a debit card

Debit card is the way to go if u r cash rich. Diff is u must hv M in account before spending - so u r always spending within your limits
wat im trying to say is its a debit card with a creditcard company backing. i think u can overdraft it also..cant remember.. :peace:
Well, I use credit card just to avoid carry too much cash. I always settle the bill the day after the statement date.

The thing that I dun like about Citibank is that when you request to waive the annual fee, they say 'NO'. So, when you write-in to cancel the card, then another person will call you to keep the card and they going to waive your annual fee. This is few years back and I wonder it is still the same?
me using Citibank and alliance
I'm using citibank for convenient sake ~~> cos bank is just below my office
Alliance ~~> cos of Ikea... got ikea point lah...
Citibank Shell card is not bad. I get my rebates every mth and I pay on time. But u got to apply for Gold Card. If normal card, then go for HSBC. I still maintain my first ever HSBC card and becoz it's offer lot's of benefits if u are redeeming stuff from it.

Alliance, still keeping it one side coz 5 years annual waiver
Hong Leong, waiver for life if u use it 24 times a year (just put in your insurance and mobile bill, automatically use 24 time)

Go for free waiver... less problem. By the way, WARNING / DISCLAIMER
never use the credit card that u put automatic billing with online payment. I kena once when my card was forge and was used by another person. Of course the bank never ask me to pay but I had to go through numerous place to change the credit card numbers that I put auto billing... d**n troublesome.
